We love these precious old halls that for years have been an important focal point of many country communities. Sadly, our community halls are "dying out". These nods to our past are expensive to up-keep and are not the responsibility of local councils - so they are left to small communities who are often unable to afford the maintenance costs. This is why it is important that we keep using them by hiring them for events, classes, meetings, shows and anything else that can go towards topping up the coffers of the committees that are doing their best to maintain a piece of our history.

Benefits of hiring these beauties include affordability, kitchens with ovens/stoves, some include crockery and glassware, plus they are usually surrounded by enough land to celebrate both inside and out, making for a perfect ‘Plan B’ if the weather turns nasty. Additionally, they are a blank canvas - providing you with the opportunity to style them to suit your chosen décor or theme.
